Hello

Hello, welcome to my blog! For this week I decided to do something really simple for the challenge that is starting at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday and the twist for this week is to use your favorite colors and that was really hard for me because all colors are my favorite so I felt like greens and peaches. My darling image is from our wonderful sponsor PpinkydollsArt and she is called lilith.
For this month of April we have 2 wonderful sponsors the other sponsor is Gina Marie Designs and you have a chance to win this wonderful die.
http://wholesalecraftingsupplies.com/ she has great prices stop by and see.
Would love for you to join us this month. Stop by and see the other designers cards.
I did some paper piercing and all my papers are from my scraps. I seen something kind of like my card on Pinterest and really liked the design so thought I give it a try.
Here is a left side view. The hello is from a Cuttlebug die.
I used one of Gina Marie designs embossing folders you can see it from the close up picture. The size is 5 1/5" by 5 1/5 " and it works great in my Big Shot. I tried doing some paper weaving but did not want it to be straight.
Here is how the inside turned out. Tried to bring in the theme by using some of the scraps. Of course their was a mark on the white paper by the time I was done so a peach paper to the rescue, their is always something!!!
These are the copic markers used to color the image.
The close up of the image. For some reason her nose looks like I put some white one it and I really did not?????
As always thanks so much for stopping by, things are well here and I hope all is well at your place. Spring is coming but not quite here yet. Flowers are staring bloom on the side of the house.
hugs and smiles,
Pat

Pat, we both chose the same digi to work with this week! Great minds think alike, right?! Your card is beautiful, and I love re pierced strips and the weaving! I'll have to try that sometime! I have some scraps of lovely papers I'd like to be able to use on a card, and I think this technique would be perfect!

I love this color combination! My younger daughter's bedroom was peach and mint green when she was a baby and I just love them together! I love the casual weaving you did too! You colored that sweet image perfectly too!

Cute as a button, Pat. This is quite different from your usual but I really love how you made it. The sentiment really stand out nicely against your greens and peaches. Have a great day.

To see green being used for this card didn't come as a big surprise, I know you love green, I remember because it's the trickiest color for me to create with. Looking so cool with the pierced paper strips, and I always appreciate ideas on how to use scraps:)
