Wrapping you in an Angel hug

I do hope everyone had a wonderful Easter last Sunday. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has started and the twist for this week is Anything Goes. Bugaboo is sponsoring this week and the image I choose to use is called Bug Love Angel and you can find it here. She is so darling. I did cut her out.
Our fabulous sponsor for the month of March is

I did use more of my scraps to make my card. My bin is getting pretty low and that makes me feel really good.
The trim used is from Hobby Lobby come with the ribbon going though the trim.
Here is a left view of the card. Punch out the sentiment with Stampin up scalloped 1 1/2 inch and then used the 1 3/4 inch one to give it a frame. I also gave it some shimmer by adding some Wink a Stella color clear. Burnishing around the 1 1/2 inch punch with brilliance ink color coral.
Both of the sentiments are from TLC creations, they give out free vintage images and sentiment. I thank them for that. A lot of them are really nice.
These are the copic markers used to color the image.
Here is a close up of the image. You can see I added glossy accents to a few areas. I do hope you like my simple card for this week. Stop by and check out the other designers cards everyone did an awesome job.
Thanks so much for stopping. Have a wonderful week end.

Hello Friend

Hello all my friends! It is time for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge for this week it is all about SPRING. This little guy/girl is from Bugaboo and the name of the image is Bug Bug Boo Birdie.

As always the different view of the card. I used Spellbinders labels three die, the two large sizes and cut out the image. I used foam mounts to raise the center. All the papers used are from my scraps.
The left view.

The outside sentiment is a die cut from Spellbinders inspire celebration two. The green pearls are from Basicgrey designer half pearls on the top and bottom.

Used some Washi tape on the front and on the inside where the papers met so you could not tell that they where pieced together. I think it turned out pretty good. Cut out the sentiment with the Spellbinder labels three and burnished the inside with brilliance ink color yellow. The border punch used on the bottom is from All Night Media. The sentiment is from TLC.

These are the copic markers I used to color the image. The background I water colored. I also used Wink of Stella pens to create the grass. Used Wiggly eyes 3mm size for the eyes. Thought it would be fun.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading you comments when you leave them. Hope you have a wonderful week end. Stop by and see all the wonderful cards the designer created.
hugs and smiles,
Pat

Hello

Two weeks just fly's by… Welcome to the Scrapy Land Challenge #37. The theme for this challenge is our favorite one “Any Thing Goes”. Need to use brand of low profile or steel ruled die Scrapy Land sells. Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here. Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. The challenge closes on Sunday March 13, giving the Designers time to choose the Winner and the Top Three.  The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to the Scrapy Land store. Please limit the number of entries to five.

The embossing folder is from Sizzix called flowers and bows string set. The paper used was all pearl paper colors cream and a light peach. I had a hard time cropping these pictures as the lighting was hard to work with. It kept turning the cream color to a light green but I finally got it to work right.
Sentiment on the outside is from Hero Arts. Here is a close up of one of the arrangements. This is made with all corners and the tag in the center.
Here you can see one of the corners. Sue Wilson dies cut out really well. Here you can see I add a large cream pearl and a medium size deeper peach pearl. Sue Wilson has a lot of dies and if you would like to check then out you can look here.
The die set I used to make my card is called Sue Wilson French Collection border, corner and tag. By playing with the pieces from the set you can do so many different layout. Viva peal pen to add some pearls colors salmon and cream.
The inside I used the border die and that die is 7 1/2 inches long the corners. For the sentiment and the is from Stampin up Feel Good stamp set and it is only one of the stamps. Used white embossing power with Versa Mark ink and heat set the power to add the sentiment, do you know if they make a cream embossing power? Never thought about it tell now. Used Creative Memories punch for the corners on the sentiment.
I hope you like my card. Thanks for stopping by, love to hear your comments on the card. Have a wonderful week. Have to tell you as of yesterday the temp here was 63 degrees and we had had no snow and today we got 5 inches of snow, really pretty all beautiful white but by the week end it is going to be near 50 degrees again. This is why we live in Wisconsin you can wake up in the morning and it can be 70 degrees and by night you can get snow. You never know what the weather is going to be. Only in Wisconsin you can have 3 seasons in one day.
